The NBA Trades Deals we need to see get done before the deadline

Jokic Get’s Some Help

Cam Johnson for Zeke Nnaji, Dario Saric, Holmes, Vlatko Cancar, Hunter Tyson
There’s no time to waste if you’re Denver. This is a once and a generation offensive force on your team, pursuing championships should be an annual affair.
Adding Cam Johnson would give the Nuggets an effective two way contributor with an absolute flamethrower, in addition to a wing with some more offensive versatility than they currently have on the roster.
It’s going to take some picks in addition, there’s no doubt about that. But you only get one Jokic, you’ve got to maximize all time greats when you’re lucky enough to get one.
LaVine’s Hollywood Ending

Lavine for Rui, Vincent, Vando, Reddish
It’s been a violently up and down year for the Lakers. After a euphoric start the purple and gold have come back down to earth, regressing to the middle of the pack in just about every category there is.
They feel like a team without an identity, and going all in on a hyper offensive, high octane vision might be their way to the promised land.
Lavine has turned down his volcanic scoring at the cost of becoming a more efficient and well rounded player. Of course some picks will be involved, but if they want to see LeBron match Kobe it will take this kind of gamble.
Orlando Get’s Some Help

Clarkson for Cole Anthony
Magic fans, we understand if you’re put off or entirely disgusted by the idea of trading Cole Anthony.
The UNC product has been a consistent bright spot, in addition to a perfect personality fit in Orlando since he arrived. But with the Magic last in the NBA in points, an offensive spark could go a long way.
Clarkson has proven time and time again that he’s an electric plug and play scorer that needs no time to get warm and few opportunities to make an impact.
You don’t want to mess with chemistry when you don’t have to, but you’ve got to wonder what a Jordan Clarkson led Magic bench looks like.
Golden State Repairs the Bridge

Jonas Valanciunas and Kispert for GPII, Kyle Anderson, Lindy Waters, and Gui Santos
The Warriors are a mess, but you just can’t blow it up. The Steph era has been too special, this is a ride it until the wheels fall off situation.
Losing GPII would sting, and Kyle Anderson has been a steady contributor off the bench, but adding proven frontcourt help as well as another shooter that could potentially be unlocked in the bay is a swing worth taking.
Like most deals, this will likely involve some picks thrown in, but a change is needed in San Francisco
Houston We Have a Closer

Ingram for Steven Adams, Jeff Green, Jae’sean Tate, and Cam Whitmore
With the way things have been trending for Houston, there might be no desire whatsoever to interrupt the rhythm. But if a playoff closer is something they’re after, they may be able to pick one up for pennies on the dollar.
The Pelicans are a mess, and whatever their future looks like, it seems unlikely that it will include Brandon Ingram, who is set to hit the free agent market this summer.
For New Orleans this is a great way to get some value back for an impending departure, and for Houston you’ve got the phone booth scorer you’ve been looking for.
AD Finally Gets to Play the 4

Rui Hachimura and Jaxson Hayes for Myles Turner
If the offensive overload isn’t the direction the purple and gold are interested in, bolstering their frontcourt and unlocking Anthony Davis as a full time roamer could transform their defense.
Myles Turner has quietly been shopped around with a reportedly “fair” price tag. AD has been outspoken in his desire to play alongside more bigs, and Turner would add a rim protector that enhances the spacing on the other end.
It isn’t as flashy as the Lavine acquisition, but in terms of fit and need, it could be just the right move to calm the seas on the pacific coast highway.
An Alien Abducts a Fox

Devin Vassell for De’Aaron Fox
It’s been a bizarre year for the beam team. The magic that fueled their 2022 run looked all but gone, then Doug Christie stepped in and revitalized the Kings defensive efforts.
Maybe a move isn’t in the cards, but if they are taking calls for De'Aaron Fox, San Antonio needs to be making them.
Devin Vassell is a promising young two guard, but having the opportunity to pair Wemby with a dynamic floor general is just too good to pass up. Of course they’d have to throw in some picks, but at the very least you have to kick the tires here.
